Membership Drive and Meet and Greet
The Ballers Youth Athletic Program (BYAF) is now registering new students for membership and participation in our programs. Registration will allow our youth to participate in our various programs geared to girls between the ages of 12-18 years of age. Registration will continue until our goal of 200 members has been accomplished.
The foundation offers programs such as our College Tour 2008, College Sports Exposure Programs, Life skills training classes, and a scholarship program that participating members are eligible to apply for in their 11th-12 grade year. Community service hours are also available through participation in the LadyBallers Little Sisters mentoring program.
The BYAF also offers outreach programs and sporting team assistance programs throughout the regions and is available to set up appropriate programs to suit the needs of community organizations. In addition, BYAF is a great way for kids to earn community service hours and help with current and future projects. To inquire about programs or become a volunteer, contact M Burns or V Mitchell at the Foundations program office at 706-434-0169. Their website is http://ballerfoundation.augladyballers.com and their update blog is located at http://goballers.blogspot.com. You can contact them by email at mailto:byaf@augladyballers.com.
The meet and greet will be help at pizza hut on Tobacco Rd on 28 Dec 2008 from 3-6pm. Please contact us today if you are interested in being added to the list of attendees.
